The curios case of benjamin button

responds of the movies are too slow, boring!
me, i just love the notion of the story, fresh idea. i am content with the movie.

i am no brad pitt fan, so i dont have expectations.
friends, they love brad pitt, so they found the movie slow and boring. they want the handsome brad pitt :) i think.

brad pitt has changed my perception of him in this film - he can actually act.
i judge him as a commercial actor. so he knows how to act in typical action or commercial movies but a no-no star in a film as an epic as this. i thought, can he act such as tom hanks or even leonardo(at least) in serious movies? so i was wrong. i think he carries benjamin button just fine.

I dont find the movie a slow pace since i dont know which scene can the director fasten it up. it is in good pace. the people he met, the touch they imprint in his heart and what i like is the touch that he marks on others' hearts. i can see benjamin treasures life and he views it differently from others as he is afraid of getting younger instead of getting older.

It triggers me, If i have a choice of getting younger or older, i choose getting older. reverse aging is scary, you have to sacrifice a lot.

i appreciate the movie. it's a warm movie. i dont need climax in this movie, just a journey of the life is enough. i am overwhelmed by the movie today than yesterday. and i feel pity who dont fit as the curious case of benjamin button audience. however, i understand why they dont appreciate that kind of movie. different people, different view.

the fact that the writer fiztgerald wrote it in 1920s really trigger me that writers in those years have eyes beyond imaginations.

but i believe all movies that have sacrifices or hardships are paid off by the love and hope they have to make them go on and value life more.

p/s i watched so many slower movies than this, but what i like most of the slow movies are the novel idea they portray..
