This is a movie that i had looking forward to watch. Did yesterday.
Lama dah rasa tak tengok sweet movie, last 27 dresses although i didn't like katherine heighl act that much. If given to another blonde girl pun ble..hehe
ok..let's go back to penelope..
It's a sweet romantic movie with some comedy and a piggie nose :p a good movie pace. adalah skit2 skru2 longgar but overall it's entertaining i think.
or should i say i can watch it for a second time :)
once in a while, it is fun to watch a light movie than heavy one.

meeting O meeting
I had a meeting this morning at 9.30am. i arrived around 8.35am.
What normals, became abnormal.
I had a missed call from my non-exec. so i thought it must be the kueh i ordered thing.
Came to the office and walla..
"gya, kak bib mc tau. kunci drawer pada dia.so kene cari laptop and projector dekat unit lain." said farah.
first thing came to my mind...mana nak cari on the spot, definitely everyone else dah book. as expected, every unit fully booked.
So i had another idea, i just printed the slides.
before i wanted to print...came a sms - my boss demam panas...could not make it.
somehow, i always feel that one day there will come a day when my bos mc and i have to chair the meeting in short notice. well, there is always a first time. and i didnt like the idea of not prepared to chair a meeting :(
I was fuming. bengang la kejap...well by right..you know your boss kan after working quite sometime with him/her :p
fine! my colleague did not arrive yet even though a clock stroke 9am. it was predicted. so tak lah gelabah...
and here the printing part...i could print one set of slides while the rest 6 slides, toner plak habis!! buat lawak ape...wasted my time to find another printer and waited the people from that floor to print. printer orang, bg laluan dulu la kan.. (ini namanya budi bahasa ekekeke)
stress la skit since i only had like 40 mins to find projector, to prepare chairwoman speech :p and to print.
But at the end...meeting started and ended with not so convincing speech by me hahahah sbb tu aku tak jd manager lagi...dah la bidan terjun :p
sedih skit la...the feedback was not as expected since there were rep from other than sales team which they viewed from another perspectives. sampai aku ckp, previous meeting attendee dia sama 'jalan' dgn group aku...dgn diorang je 'jalan' lain skit.('jalan' tu term aku pakai :p masa ckp kat diorang..maknanya sama flow, sama hala tuju meeting tu dgn org lain..tup tup special case for this group-pada mata aku la..) buatkan aku tak dpt jawab a few questions that led to unconvincing answers hahaha
bengang lagi sekali kat bos aku kekeke because if he was there, maybe he knew how to goreng. i am a straight forward and fact/figures person. so tak reti nak goreng jawapan :p (well, he did not goreng totally, but he was a 'mungkin kami boleh pertimbangkan cadangan u' type. so people will like angguk2 since dia nak pertimbangkan...which i think at last tak timbang sgt pun kekeke)
but hey, i went through the stress time today and back to normal now.
p/s beli baju kat midvelli in the afternoon. tangan gatal...rasa lama tak shopping hehe

The Gathering @ KLCC 22.12.08
meeting up with izah and pin was a little bit awkward to me...but just a few minutes...after we're done doing guardian shopping (kedai guardian ye..not a proverb or something :p) i felt like we were closed frens again like, before they decided to set off their journey overseas.
I felt awkward because they talked about their lives in other countries and i didnt fit in the topic :(
ila fitted in since all three of them had experienced living outside malaysia. (tersedih jap kehkehkeh :p) but i'm not a person who like to feel my life is a pathehtic compared to some people who like to think that way and worse, made other people feel pathetic too without knowing it..
so, i erased the feeling of being pathetic and fitted in just fine especially to listen to their stories which i found interesting... :)
as always, generous izah paid all the meals :) and we sembang-sembang quite long enough at secret recipe klcc.
We lepak2 at izah's hotel and took pictures with her in a unifrom bebeh :p Bukan senang nak ada kawan stewardess tau...emirates lagi... (aku promo ko izah hehe)
all in all, i am happy for my friends and proud to have friends like them :)

mix dance
i joined the charity dance class for like 1 and half hour and it was exhausting..it sucked all my energy hehe... i could say i enjoy the steps and moves..but i had this trouble to cope with combining between steps..i could catch up with step A and B separately...but when combined, mcm berterabur plak hehe.. :p that would bring pressure on me cause i cant keep up and looking other people dancing like a pro...well, if i looked closely, i think they also had troubles to cope too kekeke (ayat penyedap hati :p)
another trouble...cepat lupa step...i couldn't remember by hard the steps and i needed more time to remember.
in school, when you joined any performance, they taught you until you remember the steps and you could have your own sweet time to practise and remember easily... that's the difference with performing and a 45 mins session haha..

a surprise from miss ain :)
last night, ain came home saying "gya....aku ada surprise utk ko!" she looked excited. in fact she looked excited than me who should receive the surprise by surprise hehe... ni yg suspen ni "cepat la teka!" ni yg lemah bab teka ni...my wild guesses were missed.
"tadikan aku dah bagi hint."
i recap. "burnt notice" kata kak radhi...she was also excited to know kekeke...
and suddenly i knew "jeffrey donovan!" :)
she cut jeffrey donovan out from a newspaper. she said when she saw the pic, she remembered me hehehe...well all my housemate knew i am crazy about Mr Michael Westen right now. :p
she said there was supposed to be his name when she cut it, but there was this tangan gatal, her office mate who trimmed out the pic to be perfect square! kekeke so end up, ada la tinggal 3 letters 'jef' on the pic hehe
anyway ain..thanx for the thought..so i decided to pin up mr donovan on my partition here at the office :)
nak tengok datang la kat tempat i :p

over the weekend story - part 2
Friday night, ain, ennie and i went to red box. we had a few fun songs that we sang together and the rest of the songs mcm syok sendiri je la kan :p
what i wanted to share with you readers, was the expensive rate with no dinner buffet which i believed the kitchen close at 10pm? i dunno..ain did asked, and one of the staff mentioned; it meant 'this is it, no additional meal.' so, late comers got whatever being left behind. all in all, makanan dah habis la! :O i didnt feel the impact yet, since i wanted to karaoke but when i looked at the bill, i was dumbfounded. RM177.10 for 3 persons and it would be worth if the buffet dinner was provided till midnight! tu lah...gatal nak nyanyi malam kan? :p eheh
so no-no outing for saturday and sunday for me except lunch.
what i did was played squash with ain on saturday and..
on sunday, i decided to do one thing that i haven't done since i moved. bubble bath in bath tub :)
well, since i dont have the correct elements of bath tub ingredients, i used whatever items i had.. existing liquid soap and a used candle plus one typical happy birthday candle-yg warna pink2 tu; outcome, glowy bathroom with not so bubble bath kekekeke :p
i didnt know how i felt about it, but i know that i would do it again :) with a strawberry flavour i think hehe..

:( versus :)
I was sad yesterday. even took half day work kekeke...to mend my disturbed emotion.
i'm ok now :)
i recited yassin yesterday and never read the translation, even though it is always there. biasa lah....bila sedih, baru cari tuhan :p
so first time aku baca meaning dia end to end and frankly speaking, i didnt understand that much but it tranquilized me down. i needed to discard the bad feeling and at last i cried. i knew then i was ok :) well back to normal!
every year aku akan nangis with no reason just to throw away the bad feeling. tak kira whatever negativity inside. it works for me. But i think i cried 2-3 times this year and it somehow concludes me as sensitive? if so, tak bestnya...
some people say, to find happiness must go through sadness or sorrow. If that is the case, i'm ready to meet happiness ahead :)

ter emo jap :p
I waited quite some time yesterday...even i know what 'now' means in malaysia, i'm a malay..so i know 'now' means after 10-15 minutes, then you meet where you should meet. so i intentionally lepak at ofis for 10 mins and went to the agreed place. hell, i had to wait again...logically, we should meet on time hehe....but did not...so i was fed up and balik uma je. takat waiting syndrome da biasa da. no point to get mad that long huh..
this morning not a good day..my mistake for waiting...kehkehkeh...but being me i would sms and informed. i dont like people waiting or tertanya2 but i guess that is just me :)

Weekend Raya Haji
Sedih...sbb OP kodok tak balik :(
ika said she is naughty now, OP came back last week to ganti this week get together. sadly aku takde, tak tau pun diorang balik, even my kl anty pun tau hehe...
but anyway, that friday night, i told my mom "ma, esok nak buat pengat pisang"
she was like "boleh..mama tau buat" and i replied "tak, mama tak tau sbb mama tak pernah buat pun" wakaka...mcm laser lak...tp tak la...aku ckp dlm lenggok yg manja ok :p lebih kurang je ayatnya...aku tak ingat exact ayat pun hehe
so i told her that i was going to cook.
the next day, when i helped her to carry lunch meals inside (dapur aku separate dgn main house) i saw these bowls...i asked her " ma, nak buat ape ni?" pointing at the bowls..
"kata nak buat pengat." fuyo...mak aku dah kuarkan mangkuk pagi2 lagi..iyelah...anak dia mana penah masak :p hehe
so, aku kene bersemangat to buy all those ingredients...my sister drove me to all related kedai and after turun naik kedai, i bought the santan and gula melaka at this groceries shop..punya lah nak elak traffic dekat bandar sbb orang balik kampung. at one point, i told ika to balik since we got all the ingredients and my sister looked at me (aku rasa dia pun pk, btul ke dah cukup bahan) and suddenly said "eh pisang! nak makan pengat ape takde pisang."
"eh aa..haha..makan kuah pengat je la :p" i totally forgot the pisang when that was the main bahan hehe..
the rain didnt stop, so we cook in hujan. my mom sibuk nak buat spaghetti so it was like two dishes at one go.
my mom is a discipline cook, she got it from my atok. atok was strict than my mom i think.
so the first step is to cairkan the gula melaka mama style...
"ma, tak yah potong ke gula melaka bg hancur skit"
"takyah.."
finally gula melaka melted..
"ma, gya campur santan ek..."
"nanti, kene tos dulu." (ekk...tos?)
so my mom amik tapis, and tapis the melted gula melaka. she claimed kalau ada bende ke like kumbang (?#%$) or whatever yg halus2 boleh nampak and buang. so thank god no kumbang in it..
mama cakap "gula melaka mama mahal, kalau yg murah mesti ada" boleh tahan statement mak aku hehe
i then pour the santan, didih, pour the pisang, didih...
"ma, kalau ada daun pandan bau wangi ma"
my adik2 ika and ito was in the kitchen. ika was cutting the cheese into small chunck of cheese...bagi dadu-like cheese since takde cheese flakes...(btul ke aku tulis ni hehe)
ito was excited i think to see the sisters working in da kitchen plus cooking tu!
he helped stirred the spaghetti sauce and tengok2 my pengat pisang hehe...so i asked him
"to, umah kita ada tanam daun pandan tak?"
"ada...hujan la"
"gi la amik daun pandan 2-3 helai.."
then he was gone and a few seconds there was daun pandan in his hand.
fuyo...senang giler nak pujuk dia amik...hujan lak tu...
he said "demi gya, aku amik gak daun pandan ni!" hehe
well, i think he was excited to see me cook when he only see me cook 2-3 times in his entire life haha...so sanggup buat ape saje la maknanya!
it was beautiful pengat pisang i ever laid my eyes on! :p plus sagu gentel tu..sagu yg mcm halus2 tu...sagu gentel? hehe
tak sangka aku buat pengat pisang!
after we ate my mom spaghetti, the dessert was pengat pisang. i could see everybody eager to taste pengat and me too! :)
one spoonful of pengat in everybody's mouth and mmm....sedapnye! :)
dah la panas...that pengat dapat 2 mangkuk besar, so one for panas and one for sejuk. it was 45 mins cook for 10 people. i remembered ain cook for around 10 mins for 2 people so i thought that was a piece of cake. wallah...utk 10 org, that was tiring hehe...but it was extremely worth it. :)
ito even said "sedap...aku bagi markah 7."
"7 per berapa? 10?" i asked
"7 per 7 la" what a statement! gile suka aku...it was not a predictable announcement from a sibling hehe...tak sangka aku kene puji :) kembang jap.

Raya haji..my brothers didnt go to the mosque sbb hujan or sbb malas or sbb bangun lambat. i dunno...i would believe all 3 haha
i never celebrate hari raya haji. baju n seluar that is it on that day. this year baju kurung ok..
in the afternoon pergi rumah tok ji since anty shaukat jemput my family to makan2 and get together. all donning baju kurung and baju melayu. mcm raya lak! aidilfitri i mean :)
after makan2 i heard anty shaukat said to my mom "jar, tadi we all dah takbir. ni kita takbir sama2."
so we all takbir together lead by one of my second cousin...aku tak pernah takbir formally...takat tgk tv je takbirnya...so it was like first time takbir in my life :) never cross in my mind that family can takbir together. ingatkan kat masjid je hehe...maybe my family can start our own takbir next year.
then...the cousins sambung karaoke balik haha :p we are modern family kekeke
oo...by da way...sani made a video call and pi appeared on the screen with weena and opheleea nur kamilah on it! yeay! dapat gak tgk opie kodok..copong2 muka dia dlm video call :O hehehe

hhmm..I think michael scofield dah gemuk skit.. that's why i didn't that excited while watching :p yeah..that's why. but prison break has its own 'charm'.
One of the episode, i learnt that even bad guys/prisoners have sense of respect to their other peer when one of the guy died. they're not actually close to each other and always argue but when their x-warden at fox river died, even T-bag was stunned. and i was impressed wih all the emotions these characters have.
Betul kot orang, bila benda da hilang, baru terasa.
i was so sleepy this morning that i decided coming late..but not that late, kul 9.10 sampai office.
i slept late for the rest of this week that i believe my ngantuk accumulate and therefore could not get up this morning hehe..penat terkumpul and tonight..
nak balik muar. sejak lepas raya, aku tak balik muar...no wonder i miss muar that much hehe...
i even have plans what to do in muar!?!?! hahaha..let's see next week if my mission accomplish.
opie balik tak? anty gya windu la! ucuk ucuk iye... muahhs...kene tanya abang aku dia balik ke tak..

Lakeview Terrace
A constant movie with no climax but it makes you watch somehow. A racist neighbour – that is all about and a little bit of black and white racism I think. I am interested with the choice of words Abel used and it really sounded chauvinistic. Since I watched it on wednesday, it was worth it :) Plus farah lagi :p
p/s half an hour before movie, I managed to get 2 handbags..i should stop buying things now. No-no for this month hehe..

Over The Weekend Story
Shopping @ OU gave productive results :)
shoes from vincci and a handbag from a kios = great satisfaction yippie!
Lunch at Kluang Station : comelnya guy ni :)
ain and i thought that he was waiting for his girlfriend.. i mean cute guy with no date?!
well, what progress could we do? we could only 'usha' the boy. although we knew that he did 'usha' us too :p well, that's about it then.
I could imagine him donning a white navy suit and he would double his already good looking features :p
Another story to tell is beside us was this couple which we believe chinese couple and while they trying to figure out what to eat, the boyfriend sang a song that caught our attention "bila-bila kiranya diri ku perlu...hari yang murung..." (JAUH is the titile of the song) although i'm not so sure that is the same verse we heard :p or the other verse from the song, i just assume that was the lyrics...eheh :p (i mean i cant remember which part he sang but definitely the song)
It prompted me to think that we are living in a harmony country despite the little racism around, who could actually hear by herself (in this case me) an ordinary chinese guy sang a malay song at a kopitiam? i would believe then some malaysian chinese do listen to malay music :) and can actually sang, if not all, a portion of it.
We went to this cupcake cafe called 'WonderMilk' around uptown area and the place is so cozy and nice and it just brings you a good mood while you savour the yummy cupcake! :) sedap...
i'm a cheapskate, but rm4.50 for a small cupcake is worth it if it taste damn good! (wo...that is over credit hehe...but hey it's true...try one, you'll like it :) )
Well on Sunday, ila cooked macaroni bakar and it tasted ok :) i mean it passed my 'delicious par' and we did ate 3/4 of the dish. we couldn't finish the other 1/4, since we were full and could not sumbat our tummy already.
Oh one more, we watched Quantum of Solace at Midvelly and i found out it worth my money since i never watch james bond. I think Daniel Craig is a fine james bond. I forgot that james bond must have 2 things bond girl and gadget. But no gadgets are used for the movie. Itupun sebab farah yg ckp when we had breakfast this morning. I never notice it but she is a fan of james bond and she felt that the movie is lacking without gadget.
