tortoise day :)

Got a surprise delivery of a tortoise holding a bouquet of flowers and a card. so sweet!
kak wawa made my day today :)

she was my, huda n fara's housemate @ lumut teambuilding.
rasanya asyik susahkan dia tumpang barang dlm beg dia la, itu ini, tp dpt gak gift.
so all three of us got that cute little tortoise :D

What games did you play when you were young?

What i loved to play when i was young was non-teddy or barbie doll related.

i loved lego. it was number one favourite game :)

i played 'polis entry want to jaga, polis mati pencuri jaga' (btul ke? hehe) i bought the pistol set..you know the darts and handcuffs or maybe, as my memory 'tells' me i bought 2 sets eheh..

Another one that i used to play with my siblings was shopping2. there would be customers buying things and there was a cashier to punch all the items, well sort of, i just punched the price and the resits came out. where did i get the cashier-alike? well, if you got a mother who worked for finance team, you got your hand on that mega-calculator easily :) and mama seemed to be happy to borrow it from office and let her children played mathematics with it hehe

One more game: main doktor-doktor

although i'm very much turned out to be blood-hater or blood-phobia community, i was so into syringe and stethoscope huhu :D siap ada nurse cap lg tu :p

ada lagi...all those dam aji, chess, snakes, saidina and sewaktu dengannya... :)

These fondness towards the games came from my heart. no influence from others. just lov it!

Another category of games was the games that had been brought home by my elder brother. It was like, whatever he played, we played.

guli, terup aku selalu kene beli because when he won the game, no returning back of the marbles and the cards. so he had a lot of it, from siblings and from his friends. every time i lost, i bought new one to replace the lost ones. mcm gambling lak or betting. hehe

we made paper car. we made paper ships.

we played the paper ships in the rain and by the time the rain stopped, the drains were left with shipwrecks ekekeke :p

mama would let us main hujan but the hujan would base on my mom judgement.

"ma, nak main hujan!"

she would look outside window and decide "ok, gi la mandi" yippie!
as long as there was no thunder, no lightning - main hujan was permitted.

i was quite attached with my elder brother in terms of playing games together, not just him, all of his frens...main layang2 dekat compound masjid la, ikut ala2 jungle trekking belakang tanjung ketapang la ( naik atas benteng or tembok, belah kiri mcm belukar skit, belah kanan laut ok!)

but mama would fetch me up at masjid and brought me home and i would be sad and not understand why i could not play when the boys can

"gya budak pompuan, diorang lelaki"

in my mind "so? nape takleh main"

of course la aku sorang je bdk pompuan, lain semua abg aku n kawan abg aku hehe

then, main khemah2..i remembered papa would call me and said "mana boleh tido dgn budak laki. gya pompuan"

walaupun yg tido tu abg and cousins aku yg laki2...

but when i was in high school, later in form 4, form 5, i thought i knew. the reason was : i am a girl. parents needed to take care the children differently if they were boys and girls..mcm paham2 sendiri je hehe

when i was in mmu, the feeling of how it feels to have teddy bears crawled into me.

then, i had teddy bears. first teddy or not that teddy is stich :D (beli sendiri ok..sbb teringin sgt haha :p)

then i got pooh bear and some other bear (ni gifts for birthday)

so i felt, oo...mcm ni ke rasanya.... oklah...not bad... :)

those teddies ada lagi ok...i am good at jaga barang. :)

i enjoyed a lot. nasib baik ada abang, kalau tak, tak merasa ada pet hehe

p/s last week sani n ito talked about how sani made panah and accidentally arrowed ito at the leg. supposed to be lidi arrow, but aerial tv jatuh and they made that metal ariel to be an arrow. so i think ito must be sakit giler masa kene panah.

i cant remember if i played sani's invented archery hhhmmm....

Pulau Perhentian 3Apr09-6Apr09

i'm not going to bercerita here. done that in fotopages. so only selected people can view it. so whoever wants to view it, you can always ask me in person :p tp kalau tak reply tu, maknanya tak layak la tu heheh...i'm a very private person.

but memorable events were:-

1) tempat tidor mermaid dlm citer mermaid hehe.... our guide called it clamp. beautiful. purple colour. green color. blue with black dots color. so far snorkel tak pernah jumpa lg.

2)canoing @ sea. first time. thrilled when the waves hit on us.

3)strong waves @ long beach. remind me at cherating masa kecik dulu. sukanye!

4)bumping speedboat. i just like it. terangkat2 kitorang.

Overall, i was having fun :)
better than Langkawi.

p/s sejak tukar unit, keje banyak seh... but i was happy hahah...

Earth Hour

28 mac, rumah aku join earth hour for let say 70% participation hehe
rumah aku selalu terang jugak la, mcm2 lampu bukak.
tp hari earth hour, bilik atas bukak lampu master bedroom je, the rest padam lampu. tp bilik mak aku tu bukak air con lak hehe...sape lepak atas, bilik tu je boleh lepak since ada lampu.
belah bawah, anty aku nak tgk AF, so bukak tv and satu lampu luar since anty aku mcm lemas kalau gelap sgt.
lampu luar belah depan bukak satu je.
tp pd aku, kira hebat juga participation kitorang since aku ingat tak join langsung. ni semua sbb abg aku mengajak-ajak jom la....so itu lah hasil nye :)
tp kan kenape aku tak dpt baca mana2 saying on how much we, malaysia cut our electric on that day? ke aku yg tak jumpa? hhhmmmm.....
all i read was what was happening on various places when the lights went off.
rupa-rupanya ramai je kwn aku tak join ekekeke :p

let's give a shot

I read a horoscope a few weeks ago...and it said some sort like "today, you can write poems or any writings bla bla bla"
i remember i loved to write when i was in high school, most of its poems, short novel-dialogue thingy. I was eager to submit entries for school magazines :)

til one incident happened - not going to share it here, but the clue is a house. my house.
that day i stopped writing, not intentionally, not my being affected by the tragedy, but i dunno, i just stop.

i'm not a horoscope-avid ekekeke sesekali baca ok la :)
so when it was written that capricorn could write that day, i was like 'let's give a shot' attitude. A simple poem created.

So here it goes...

Tribute to Miss Right & Miss Left

Imagine you need to control all your breathing,your blinking eyes...that would be disastrous, and for that gifts, we human take advantage.

and now, i am sufferng, prescribed by a doctor early arthritis which i believe more of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Then i search on the net, it is wrist arthritis and under that category there is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. :(

I realize how much 'sacrifice' that my right hand had done for me and obviously i took advantage of Miss Right.

i never thought turning a doorknob would need an effort, i thought it was effortless. Now, i am having trouble turning the doorknob or taking out my handphone from my right pants' pocket or need my left hand assistance turning the car steering wheel when parking. Worse, i cant even put on a watch on Miss Right. I feel heavy, pain. I dont brush my teeth with right hand now, i seek Miss Left aid.

It bangs me on the head that my everyday routine activities are efforts-consumated even just to hold a glass of water.

And here, i acknowledge Miss Right roles in my everyday life and this entry is to honour Miss Right for all the deeds she has done for me. Please rest and get well soon!

Not to forget Miss Left for your continuous assistance :) Good job!

What a tribute hah.. huhu...sakit seh tangan...bila nak baik sepenuhnye ni... saya sayang tangan saya. Cepat baik ye!

Rafting @ Kuala Kubu

Last Saturday 7 March, the 6 of us (me,ila,ennie,fara,fahmie,apek) went to white water rafting. I had fun due to geng yg best and good instructor, Bai. Korie was quiet but i could see he has the skills to manuever the boat but need to polish up his PR skill ewah :p
The rapids are ok up to my standard (bear in mind, i'm not easily satisfied and it's hard to make me content hehe)

But i like the rescue part where Bai said to me " sekarang boleh rescue" when he saw me just looking at fara n fahmie who were capsized from the boat and i gave a spontaneous response "a'a la, rescue!"which fahmie point out later on haha. i thought i could pull fara into the boat solo haha, end up bai had to help ekekeke... berat ko berapa fara? :D

Another experience was the "mari practise bot terbalik" i was under the boat when it happened and you need to remind yourselve not to get panic even though it was a practise.

The last rapid was nothing but i had be given ala2 the trust to manuever the boat in front and i enjoyed the moment when the boat ala2 outdo the rapid which i repeat, i was at the front part of the boat :) (ganti tempat instructor ok..)

The popular rapids are chicken drop and 2nd canyon but my level of fulfillment if it is ranged from 1-10 i could give 5-6. nothing can compare to rapids in Bali so far, i mean i only raft twice now, so need a third one to actually make comparison :) but i did enjoy and had fun. not a best giler level, but i can give A for it.

p/s i wanted to feel A+ feeling...tp A pun ok ape :)
